Executive Vice President and Chief Insights and Optimization Officer

In his current role as Executive Vice President and Chief Insights and Optimization Officer, Michael partners with DFA leaders to drive Cooperative-wide initiatives related to data, insights, and emerging technology, like AI, while also guiding the development of DFA’s strategic plan focused on driving performance through collaborative action. He also maintains key customer relationships and supports business development efforts across the Cooperative. Michael has worked at DFA since 2004, previously serving in a variety of capacities, including customer relations, international business development, general management, sales and operations planning, and milk optimization. Michael serves on the boards of National Milk Producers Federation, Global Dairy Platform, and the U.S. Dairy Export Council. He is also a cleared advisor for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee for Trade in Animals and Animal Products.
