Matt milks 1,400 cows at Providence Dairy, in partnership with his father and uncle, in Climax, Ga. They purchased the farm in 1999 and grew the operation from 250 cows. They triple crop 1,000 acres of corn for silage, sorghum, and ryegrass. Matt currently serves as President of the board of directors for Dairy Cooperative Marketing Association, President of the board of directors for Georgia Milk Producers, and serves on the U.S. Dairy Export Council Trade Policy Committee.
