Kristine and her husband, Mark, began dairying in 1994 with 60 cows in a rented barn. Today, they milk 350 cows and grow their own hay and corn for feed on the farm. Kristine and Mark have four children: Ryan, Adam, Kate, and Seth. Adam, Kate, and Seth work on the dairy. Kristine has been a member of the Minnesota Milk Producers Association and the Minnesota Dairy Leaders Roundtable. She currently serves as a Director of the ToddWadena Electric Cooperative board, and serves on the Minnesota Dairy Promotion Council, Midwest Dairy corporate board, and as a Runeberg Township Clerk.
