Kristine and her husband, Mark, began dairying in 1994 with 60 cows in a rented barn. Today, they milk 350 cows and grow their own hay and corn for feed on the farm. Kristine and Mark’s four children, Kate, Adam, Seth, Ryan, and Ryan’s wife, Jen, all help out on the farm. Kristine has been a member of the Minnesota Milk Producers Association and the Minnesota Dairy Leaders Roundtable. She currently serves as a Director of the Todd-Wadena Electric Cooperative board, and serves on the Minnesota Dairy Promotion Council, Midwest Dairy corporate board, and as a Runeberg Township Clerk.
