Charles and his son, Andrew, operate Krause Holsteins, a 350-cow herd on their fifth-generation farm in central Minnesota. He serves as Chair of Midwest Dairy’s corporate board and as First Vice Chair of United Dairy Industry Association’s board, which partners with Dairy Management Inc. on national checkoff efforts. He is one of five U.S. dairy farmers who serve as ambassadors for Global Dairy Platform, advocating for dairy internationally. On a local level, he serves as Chair of Centra Sota Cooperative’s board, and his family hosts multiple farm tours throughout the year.
