Brett Johnson

Chief Operations Officer

As chief operations officer, Brett oversees operations, engineering, quality assurance, food safety, continuous improvement and procurement for DFA’s ingredients, retail and extended shelf life/aseptic beverage businesses. Brett has more than 40 years of experience in the dairy business. He joined DFA in 2018 and has held several leadership roles in operations. Prior to joining DFA, Brett worked at Dean Foods from 1982–2017, serving as vice president of operations from 2000–2017. In 2023, Brett received the Dairy Brands Division’s first-ever President’s Award for his leadership.
