TRUMOO® ZERO NOMINATED FOR DAIRY FOODS’ 2025 DAIRY PRODUCT OF THE YEAR
TruMoo® Zero isn’t just a bold reimagining of what chocolate milk can be — it’s a delicious innovation that has been nominated for Dairy Foods magazine’s 2025 Dairy Product of the Year.
Launched earlier this year by DFA’s farmer-owned brand TruMoo, this lactose-free, no-added-sugar chocolate milk is already stirring up excitement. Now, it’s your turn to get it across the finish line by voting before August 31.
A delicious, better-for-you chocolate milk
TruMoo Zero delivers the creamy, chocolate flavor fans love, with none of the sugar and all of the protein. Each serving packs:
- 13 grams of protein (50% more than regular chocolate milk)
- 30% of your daily calcium
- Zero added sugar
- Lactose-free indulgence
“We know that there is an interest in increasing protein consumption and reducing sugar intake,” says Tim Bennett, Senior Innovation Manager at DFA. “TruMoo Zero delivers 8 grams of complete protein naturally from dairy, plus five more grams from an innovative milk protein concentrate, all sourced from our high-quality milk.”
That means more of our farmer-owners’ milk in every glass — without the gritty texture that often comes with high-protein drinks.
Why it matters
TruMoo Zero is more than a product, it’s a sign of where dairy is headed. It’s a response to evolving consumer needs, blending nutrition, innovation, and taste in a way that’s redefining the category.
That sounds like a product of the year to us!
