Brian and his wife, Kristina, along with their children and employees, operate Kelly Hills Dairy in Seneca, Kan., where they milk 800 cows. The family also farms approximately 2,000 acres of alfalfa, corn, soybeans, and rye. Brian and his family received the Natural Resources Award by Kansas Farm Bureau in 2024, Kansas Farm Bureau Farm Family of the Year in 2021, Kansas Bankers Association Water Quality Award in 2011, and were named a DFA Member of Distinction in 2017. Brian is a supporter of the Nemaha County Fair and his local FFA chapter through providing scholarships each year. He also serves on the Adams township board. He previously served on his rural water district’s board, on his church council, and on the Knights of Columbus as Grand Knight.
