Judd, a third-generation dairy farmer, operates Douglas Chambers Dairy with his mother, one of his sons and six employees. His father started the dairy in 1973. Together, the family milks 450 cows on 1,800 acres, and they raise most of their own replacement heifers. Judd also bales hay and harvests ryegrass and sorghum for silage. He serves on the Georgia Farm Bureau Dairy Advisory Committee, as secretary of the American Dairy Association of Georgia, is president of the Jones County Farm Bureau and is the Pitts Chapel Church chairman of pastor-parish relations.
