Dwight Nash

Dwight and his wife, Gwen, grow feed and care for up to 400 heifers on their 1,000-acre dairy farm. Their son, Kevin, and daughter-in-law, Pam, manage the operation and milk 350 cows. Dwight serves on the Michigan Tuberculosis Advisory Committee, Michigan State University’s (MSU) Livestock Stakeholder’s Committee, United Dairy Industry of Michigan and MSU’s Agricultural Program Advisory Board, as well as the MSU Animal Industry Initiative. Dwight is community group president of the Michigan Farm Bureau, and he was appointed to the Governor’s Dairy Marketing Committee, where he serves as treasurer. He also is involved with the FFA Alumni Association, the FFA chapter at the local high school and FFA at the state level.
