Plugra Launches Gourmet Club
The Plugrá® Gourmet Club, recently introduced by Plugrá European-Style Butter in partnership with Saveur Magazine, has created a legion of brand loyalists. A free resource to food enthusiasts, the Club has spurred the creation of more than 800 local dinner clubs across the nation.
Building on the popularity of book clubs, Plugrá Gourmet Club offers members everything from a guide on starting a dinner club and chef-created recipes to demonstration videos from featured chefs, drink pairings and even décor tips. It is a single source where food enthusiasts can join together, gain knowledge and celebrate their passion for food.
“Chefs in restaurants across the country know how important it is to use quality ingredients like Plugrá European-Style Butter,” said Ashley Campbell, Plugrá senior associate brand manager. “The club allows aspiring foodies to experiment with flavors and restaurant-quality ingredients such as Plugrá to find success in their own kitchens.”
The Plugrá Gourmet Club features celebrated chefs from iconic restaurants across the country. These chefs share trade secrets, give club members a peek into their kitchens, and provide cuisine themed menus, inspirations and tips for recipe success and ideas for how to complete the perfect party setting.
Featured chefs include Dewey LoSasso, The Forge Restaurant|Wine Bar – Miami; Colby and Megan Garrelts, Bluestem – Kansas City, Mo.; Kevin Kidd, SALT the Bistro – Boulder, Colo.; Dominique Tougne, Chez Moi – Chicago; and Chef Jacquy Pfeiffer from the French Pastry School – Chicago.

Each month a Club of the Month is recognized based on entries that include the club's tips for throwing a successful dinner party, suggestions for future dinner club cuisine features and a photo representing their Plugrá Gourmet Club. The winning group is selected by a panel of editors at Saveur and awarded $500 toward their next dinner party.
