DFA’s Political Action Committee
Working on the Hill:
Dairy producer members of Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. political action committee, (DEPAC) assemble each year in Washington, D.C. to discuss national dairy policy issues with lawmakers. This year a contingency of 12 dairy farmer leaders spoke with congressional leaders in support of compacts, federal orders and farm bill legislation.

They included (left to right): Harvey Moranda, Orland, Calif.; Steve Matthees, Goodhue, Minn.; Neil Hoff, Windthorst, Texas; Alva Carter, Portales, N.M.; Larry Purdom, Purdy, Mo.; Larry Frederick, Baring, Mo.; Kent Herman, Taylorsville, N.C.; Merle Chaplin, Moundsville, W.Va.; Danny Evans, Sulphur Springs, Texas; Gordon Roberts, Beaver, Utah; Rick Binder, Hays, Kan.; and Lewis Gardner, Galeton, Pa.

I want to write my Congressional representative about this issue.
