Phone: 816-801-6410 Smith is DFA’s president and chief executive officer, having assumed the role on January 1, 2006. His entry into the dairy industry began in 1982 when he joined Dairylea Cooperative, Inc. as vice president and general counsel. From 1988 to 2005, he served as Dairylea’s chief executive officer. Prior to being named CEO by DFA’s board, Rick served as president and chief operating officer for DFA, overseeing all business operations. Smith also serves on the board of the National Milk Producers Federation, as well as other national and regional organizations.
Phone: 816-801-6460 Joel is responsible for DFA’s financial reporting and accounting services, credit management, as well as producer payroll and information systems. Since 1987, Clark has worked for dairy farmers when he joined DFA predecessor co-op, Mid-America Dairymen, Inc., serving first as corporate controller then vice president of accounting and analysis for Mid-Am’s manufacturing products division. He has held positions as an auditor for Arthur Young & Co. and controller for Color Tile, Inc. A CPA since 1979, Clark earned an accounting degree at Baylor University.

He has had a private law practice, and served as a Prosecutor for Greene County, Missouri, and Vice President of Litigation for a Springfield-based insurance company. Davids career emphasis is on product liability and commercial litigation.
Phone: 816-801-6714 Joined DFA in 2000 and has responsibility for American Dairy Brands, which includes the Borden retail cheese business, the branded beverage business and Keller's Creamery branded butter business. Responsibility also includes the Formulated Dairy Foods contract manufacturing beverage business and the Dairy Foods Group foodservice and industrial cheese and protein businesses. Earned a double major B.S. in Marketing and Management from Southwest Missouri State University.
Phone: 816-801-6458 David is responsible for DFA’s corporate finance, treasury and internal audit functions. He serves as the primary liaison between DFA and the financial community. In 1998, He joined DFA as director of internal audit and, in 2001, was promoted to vice president of finance/controller. From 1990 to 1998, Meyer served as a manager with the accounting firm Deloitte and Touche. While at the firm, he focused his practice on clients in the food industry including DFA predecessor co-op, Mid-America Dairymen, Inc. Meyer earned an accounting degree at Kansas State University and is a CPA.

His experience includes working for a regional U.S. dairy cooperative, as well as for Dutch dairy cooperative Campina's U.S. operations. Most recently he served in New Zealand as the chief operating officer with Fonterra Cooperative Group.
Phone: 816-801-6430 Wilson got his start in dairy cooperatives as a field representative in 1983 with predecessor Mid-America Dairymen, Inc. Since that time he has held various positions leading to his current role as senior vice president. In this position he oversees DFA’s governmental and public affairs, regulatory initiatives and national milk marketing activities including customer relations, economic analysis and forward contracting.

Phone: 817-410-4502 David is a native of Franklinton, Louisiana and his familys dairy farm. He received a BS in agricultural economics in 1977 from Louisiana State University. In 1978, David began work for Dairymen Inc. as a field representative. Became Vice President and COO of the Western Area of Mid-Am in 1994. He has been with the organization since 1998.
Phone: 816-801-6202 Randy is a native of Missouri. He earned a BS in agricultural economics/dairy from the University of Missouri and went on to earn an MBA from Iowa State University. In 1986, Randy joined Mid-Am as director of Market Analysis. He then became Southeast Division Manager of Member Services and was later promoted to Southeast Division Manager.
