Strong financial foundation keeps focus on members

As we reflect on 2007, we will remember a year of many significant events. Dairy farmers experienced a year of record milk prices, but also record costs. A variety of dairy issues filled the headlines of our newspapers. Major issues included the Farm Bill, immigration, sustainability, renewable energy, rbST, and cloning. DFA is deeply engaged in each of these issues and will continue to be in 2008.

We also look back at 2007 and see a year of significant progress in DFA’s history, lending itself to our annual meeting theme, “10 Years and Building.” As we celebrate DFA’s 10-year milestone, we also look ahead to the future in building a stronger cooperative.
