DFA Direct Deposit Option

If you’re not already receiving your milk check electronically through DFA’s Direct Deposit program, there is a new reason to sign up for this option. DFA will make deposits to member bank accounts 24 hours from the time checks normally would be mailed.

Members who authorize direct deposit will have their payment electronically deposited to their account on the next business day after checks go into the mail. That means no more worries about whether the mail will be on time or whether you will have time to go to the bank and deposit your check.

Members who sign up for electronic deposit will continue to receive, by mail, a printed copy of their milk check including documentation of all transactions involved in their payment.

Members who are already on the electronic payment system can expect their payments to be made within 24 hours of the normal mailing date.

Convenience, reliability and safety are the reasons why more DFA members electing Direct Deposit over mail delivery. When members request direct deposit they can be certain their check will be in their checking account within 24 hours of the pay date. The system not only saves members time, but it is more economical for the cooperative, because it eliminates delivery problems and further automates the payment process.
